| Malovata 94 is a Moldovan type tobacco grown in Romania on the sandy soils located in the Romanian Black Sea area.. It is a local drought resistant variety with good quality and yields an aromatic smoke. It can grow to a height of 4 1/2 to 6 feet with 12 to 16 leaves widely spaced on the stalk. Leaves average 8 to 10 inches in width and 16 inches in length. It matures and ripens early with the leaf becoming a light green when ripe. It is usually sun cured and air dried, and is good for pipe and cigarette blends. Nicotine content is from 1% to 1.5% |
