Prancak N-1 is an Oriental tobacco developed on the Indonesian island of Madura, and was first released in 2004. The plant grows to 4 to 5 feet in height and produces 12 to 20 leaves, ranging from 16 to 20 inches in length and 9 to 14 inches wide. It matures in 60 to 70 days. Prancak N-1 combines characteristics of both its parents, with a backcross pollination of Prancak 95 and Ishmir Orient. The result is a light, Izmir like leaf that readily sun cures to a golden color, and can also be flue-cured to produce sweet, bright leaf. It is usually sun-cured. It is useful for cigarette and pipe blending and has a nicotine content of 1.76%
